Economic writer Dr. Abdullah Baashan confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is achieving significant economic development in non-oil activities, which now constitute 52% of the GDP in 2024, reflecting the success of the Kingdom’s vision to reduce dependence on oil and diversify sources of income.
In statements to Al-Ikhbariya channel, he pointed out that the Kingdom has become a leader in the Middle East, with many countries in the world eager to benefit from its pioneering experiences in various fields.
He added that stimulating investment laws and the use of modern technology were key factors in driving development.
He explained that 65% of the Kingdom's population is made up of young people, stressing that this active youth group has played an important role in achieving the sustainable development witnessed by the country.
