Amidst an atmosphere brimming with color, music, and authenticity, the Saudi pavilion welcomed visitors with a warm "Welcome," opening a gateway to discovering the Kingdom's natural diversity, cultural richness, and generous hospitality. Organized in partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority, the pavilion provided a vibrant window, transporting visitors on a journey from the Red Sea to the peaks of the southern mountains, passing through heritage, artistic, and modern sites.
“The Kingdom is one of the fastest-growing tourist destinations in the world,” said Dr. Ghazi bin Faisal bin Zaqr, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Japan and Commissioner General of the Pavilion, in his opening remarks at the exhibition. He emphasized that the Kingdom’s pavilion constitutes a cultural and human bridge between Japan and the Kingdom, paving the way for Expo Riyadh 2030.
A remarkable diplomatic and cultural success
As the two countries celebrate 7 years of bilateral relations, the exhibition serves as a tangible embodiment of the strong relationship between Riyadh and Tokyo. Fahad Hamidaddin, CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority, said the exhibition caters to Japanese travelers' desire for authentic cultural experiences, adding that the Kingdom recorded a XNUMX% increase in the number of Japanese tourists last year and seeks to enhance this growth through quality events.

The Saudi pavilion was not merely a visual display, but a complete sensory experience. Visitors enjoyed live music performances, traditional craftsmanship by Saudi artists, and contemporary designs by 10 Saudi designers from the Fashion Commission. In the main courtyard, attendees enjoyed panoramic views of the Kingdom's most prominent destinations, heritage performances from various regions, and a sports and interactive corner that embodied the spirit of youth and innovation.
Towards the future with Saudi creativity
The pavilion continues its activities through unique programs such as "We Are Saudi Arabia," "The World of Plants" in augmented reality, and the "Innovation Summit," where visitors can interact with experiences that highlight the Kingdom's contribution to the future of sustainability, technology, and smart cities.
Widespread acclaim and public interaction
