Al-Kharif added, during his meeting with Sputnik News Agency on the sidelines of his participation in the Russian industrial exhibition "Innoprom", that the Saudi delegation included more than eight government agencies and approximately 8 companies under the umbrella of "Made in Saudi Arabia", in addition to promotional platforms for investment and tourism.
Highlighting the tourism aspect of the Kingdom
Minister Al-Khorayef explained that "Saudi Arabia sought to capitalize on this participation by highlighting the Kingdom's tourism potential and the diversity of its regions."
He continued: "We welcome Russian tourists, and we have noticed a growth in tourism from Saudis to Russia, to the point that we have become a leading destination in terms of the number of tourists to Russia."

Collaborative work
He continued, "We met with the Minister of Industry, and it was a fruitful meeting in which we discussed joint work, in addition to the existence of a joint team between the Kingdom and Russia working to open new horizons for cooperation and establish new joint companies between the two countries."
He referred to the meeting with the head of natural resources and their discussion of the mining and geological surveying sector and how Russia is preparing for the Future of Minerals conference at the beginning of next year.
