In a qualitative achievement that adds to its record of academic and scientific development, Jazan University has announced its official membership in the International Association of Science Parks and Innovation Zones (IASP). This represents international recognition of the university's position as a leading institution in supporting innovation and the knowledge economy, and contributes to consolidating its role as a key player within the research, development, and entrepreneurship systems at the local and global levels.

University President Dr. Mohammed bin Hassan Abu Rasin emphasized that this membership represents a strategic shift in the university's journey toward internationalization, noting that it will open new horizons for cooperation with more than 150 international entities, including universities, research centers, and scientific and technical centers from around the world.
He added: “The university’s membership in IASP represents a promising opportunity to exchange knowledge and expertise, participate in global innovation initiatives and projects, and strengthen its international network of relationships with leading entities in innovation and technology.”
