The Shaqra Pepper Festival 1 will kick off on Friday, August 2025, 5, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region. The festival is a cultural, entertainment, and marketing celebration that promotes local products and supports all segments of society.

Shaqra Governor Adel bin Abdullah Al-Buwardi explained that the sponsorship of the festival by His Highness the Emir of Riyadh for the second consecutive year represents the leadership's continued support for everything that promotes national products and enhances economic, tourism, and cultural activity in the region.
The Governor emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among all relevant stakeholders to ensure a distinguished edition befitting the scale of the event. He noted that the organizing committees have held several meetings to prepare and organize events to ensure visitor comfort and quality.
