Al-Ahli Saudi Club player Mohammed Al-Majhad has been trending on social media after leaving the first football team during the current summer transfer window.

The club posted a brief farewell message on its official X account, saying, "Thank you for everything you've done, Mohammed Al-Majhad," marking the end of his career with the team, which began in 2019.
Mohammed Al-Majhad bid farewell to the club and its fans with a touching message he posted on his official account, saying: “After six years of carrying the Al-Ahly club logo with pride and loyalty, I find myself today facing the moment of farewell, which is one of the most difficult moments of my career.”

He continued: "I lived the most beautiful days among you, and I learned the meaning of belonging and loyalty within this great edifice, which was not just a club, but a home and a family. I extend my sincere thanks to everyone who supported me, from my colleagues and the administrative and technical staff, and my greatest thanks to the great Al-Ahly fans, who were my beating heart and primary motivation on and off the field."
Many Al-Ahly Saudi fans sent messages of thanks to the player for his efforts during the six years he spent with the team.

Mohammed Al Walidi said on the X website: “Thank you for everything you have given to the great Al Ahly club. I wish you success in your next journey.”
Thank you for your feelings towards the entity and the audience.”

Abbadi Al Zahrani added on the X website: “May God grant you success, Mohammed. You were one of the best players in terms of manners, morals, generosity, and loyalty. Thank you for every moment, my dear.”

Faisal continued in a post on the X website: “In the midst of Al-Ahly’s defeat, you remained, and in the most difficult moments, you fought for the logo. We are happy that you were part of our club, and we are even happier that you appreciated the shirt and the entity that you were in, and your end with Al-Ahly was in the most beautiful way.”

Al-Mojahid joined Al-Ahly in the summer of 2019 on a contract extending until 2027, but a series of recurring injuries kept him out of the plans of German coach Matthias Jaissle, ending the player's career with the team in the summer of 2025.
