In a parallel visual and cultural dimension, the King Abdulaziz Public Library is displaying a collection of rare photographs documenting handicrafts in the Kingdom's various regions. This is part of the activation of the "Year of Handicrafts 2025," launched by the Ministry of Culture, with the aim of highlighting heritage diversity and enhancing the value of crafts as a component of national identity.
The library also offers a special section for children, featuring a collection of its educational stories and interactive activities, aimed at different age groups. These include: “Memoirs of a Faction,” “Qaoud” (in Arabic and English), and “The Saudi Ardah for Children,” as part of a strategy aimed at instilling cultural and historical values in young generations through simple and enjoyable narrative language.
This participation comes within the context of the King Abdulaziz Public Library's efforts to introduce Saudi culture in all its aspects, and to enhance the Kingdom's cognitive, heritage, and cultural values, in addition to highlighting its role in preserving and making available Arab and Islamic heritage through major cultural platforms.
