The National Day holiday falls on September 23 of each year, and is granted to employees in both the public and private sectors.
If the day falls on an official holiday (such as Friday or Saturday), employees will be compensated with a day before or after.

Celebration of the Saudi National Day
On the occasion of this historic day, the Ministry of Culture announced the organization of a series of diverse cultural, artistic, and heritage events that will be held across various cities and regions of the Kingdom, within a unified national vision aimed at strengthening national belonging and identity through culture.
The events will include musical performances, cultural seminars, heritage exhibitions, and interactive workshops targeting various age groups and communities, providing a rich national experience that reflects the Kingdom's history, present achievements, and future aspirations.
Official holiday and an eternal memory
It's worth noting that Saudi National Day was first declared an official holiday in Saudi Arabia in 2005 to mark the XNUMXth anniversary of the unification of the Kingdom. An exceptional holiday was granted to both the public and private sectors, and since then, the day has become an official national occasion celebrated annually in the country.
A national celebration that touches the hearts of Saudis
This year's celebrations come amidst the significant economic and cultural progress the Kingdom is witnessing within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030, adding a new dimension to this occasion, which is not merely a historical anniversary, but a celebration of the journey of a nation whose contributions are renewed every year.
September 23rd is scheduled to be an official holiday in the Kingdom to celebrate the day.
