As part of the Saudi newspaper Tafa'al's coverage of the Dhofar Autumn Festival 2025, the newspaper met with Mohammed Mohsen, a young man from Salalah and a student at the vocational college, who expressed his great admiration for the developments taking place at the festival this year.
Dhofar Autumn Festival 2025
Mohammed said, "I'm from Salalah, specifically Dhofar, and honestly, this year's events are very beautiful. We thank the government for the wonderful services and events spread throughout Dhofar, not only at the main festival site, but also in areas like Al Saada, Taym, and many other places."
Various activities open to all
Regarding the target audience for the events, Mohammed explained that the festival appeals to all segments of society, saying, "The events are suitable for everyone, whether families, youth, or even individuals. Everyone will find something that suits them."
He added that the segments that most caught his attention were family gatherings, children's parties, and new recreational activities, noting that the number of events had significantly increased compared to previous years.
Regarding the cost of attendance, Mohammed explained that most events are free, making them accessible to everyone, with no entry fees required.
Suggestions for improvement
Regarding ways to develop the experience in the coming seasons, Mohammed pointed to the importance of digital transformation and integrating technology into services, saying: “There is some difficulty from a technical standpoint. If there was more integration of applications or facilitating access to events electronically, the experience would be much better.”
He concluded: "We hope to see more improvements in the coming years. May God bless everyone."
