The Damascus International Fair is one of the region's most prominent economic events, bringing together representatives from various countries and sectors to explore investment opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and discuss the latest trends that support economic growth and enhance sustainability in the region.
Participating Saudi authorities emphasized that this distinguished presence reflects the strength of the fraternal and historical ties between the Kingdom and Syria, and reflects the shared commitment to developing economic and trade cooperation, opening broader horizons for Saudi goods and services in the Syrian market and creating a favorable environment for joint investment, in light of the values and cultural and social affinity between the two peoples, embodied by the exhibition's slogan, "We Are Similar."
The exhibition is expected to witness the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding in various fields, including energy, renewable energy, trade, and investment, enhancing economic integration between the two countries and supporting the development process on both sides.
This participation is an extension of the Kingdom's strategic direction to expand its presence in major regional and international exhibitions, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economic base, increase the contribution of non-oil exports to the gross domestic product, and expand trade partnerships at the regional and global levels.
