The Saudi national team topped Google's search engine trends after its coach, Hervé Renard, revealed the list of players participating in the training camp being held in the Czech Republic during the FIFA days in September. The camp is part of the Green Falcons' preparations for the Asian play-offs to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
National team list
The camp is scheduled to take place in the Czech capital, Prague, from August 31 to September 8. The technical staff aims to enhance the players' physical and technical readiness ahead of the crucial matches scheduled for next October in Jeddah.
Two friendly matches in the Czech camp
The Saudi national team will play two friendly matches during the camp:
Against North Macedonia, on September 4 at the Viktoria Žižkov Stadium in Prague.
And against the Czech Republic, on September 8 at the Malchowska Stadium in Hradec Kralove.

The Green Falcons' delegation will depart on Sunday afternoon, August 31, via King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, on a direct flight to Prague, marking the start of the new preparatory phase.
Road to the 2026 World Cup
The national team is in Group B of the Asian World Cup play-offs, alongside Iraq and Indonesia. Led by Renard, the Green Falcons are seeking to secure a spot in the World Cup for the seventh time in their history, following their most recent participation in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
