The National Center for Mental Health Promotion announced the release of two specialized guides dedicated to promoting mental health in the school environment:

Guide to Dealing with Mental Health Problems in the School Environment
The two publications aim to raise awareness of psychological problems in schools, provide teaching staff with the practical skills needed to address psychological and behavioral challenges, and offer scientific strategies for psychological counseling and referral to relevant authorities when necessary.
Evidence content and its objectives
School Mental Health Journal
An educational platform that highlights the relationship between mental health, academic achievement, and social behavior, and addresses the most prominent psychological issues facing students.
Guide Guidance
A practical reference for teachers and educational counselors, including scientific standards and preventive and therapeutic strategies across several levels to support a healthy school environment.
In line with global trends and national vision
The center explained that these publications fall within its core competencies and are part of comprehensive national efforts to promote psychological awareness. It noted that they align with international trends reflected by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, and are also consistent with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to create a safe and healthy educational environment.
The center emphasized that its goal is not limited to publication alone, but also includes implementing the content of the guides into practical use through training programs and workshops, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, to ensure their actual use on the ground.
