A number of Gaza Strip residents expressed their deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the relief aid provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief), amid the unprecedented humanitarian crisis facing the Strip amid widespread famine and deteriorating living conditions.
People of Gaza
Beneficiaries praised the Kingdom's pioneering humanitarian role toward the Palestinian people, stressing that the urgent food and medical aid has significantly contributed to alleviating their suffering amid the comprehensive blockade on the Gaza Strip, which has caused severe shortages of food, medicine, water, and electricity.
Timely Saudi support
One beneficiary said: “We thank the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its government and people, for this generous aid we received from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. It has been a great help to us in these difficult circumstances, when many of us cannot find our daily bread.”
In the same context, the wife of one of the martyrs expressed her deep gratitude, noting that the aid arrived at the right time, given the deteriorating economic and living conditions in Gaza.
She added, "I ask God to reward what the Kingdom is providing for them. This assistance has alleviated a lot of pain and suffering for me and my children."
A historic loyalty from the Kingdom towards the Palestinian people
One beneficiary emphasized that the Kingdom has never hesitated to support the Palestinian people, saying, "The Kingdom has stood with us during the most difficult circumstances, providing us with the basic supplies we need, especially during this critical period when Gaza is suffering from a stifling blockade that has led to widespread famine."
Comprehensive support for facilities and shelters
For her part, one displaced woman said she was staying in a school established by the Kingdom in 2007 to house orphans and wives of martyrs. Today, it has become a shelter for many families who lost their homes.
She said: “We are grateful for everything the Kingdom has provided. It has not left us alone in these difficult circumstances.”
Deep appreciation for the Saudi position
The people of Gaza appreciated the continuous and unlimited support from the Kingdom's leadership, government, and people, noting that this aid represents a true support for the Palestinian people in their ordeal and embodies the authentic meanings of human and fraternal solidarity.
