Announced Real Estate General Authority About starting business Real estate registration In Jeddah Governorate, Makkah Region, the decision covers 65,217 real estate plots distributed across 19 neighborhoods, starting from August 24th until November 27th, 2025 AD, corresponding to Jumada Al-Akhirah 6th, 1447 AH, for a period of three months.
Neighborhoods covered by the eye registration
The authority explained that the neighborhoods benefiting in this phase include: Al-Rabi’, Al-Gharbiyah, Al-Ubair, Al-Buhairat, Al-Jazirah, Al-Zahour, Al-Zamrud, Al-Ghadeer, Al-Khaleej, Al-Durrah, Al-Shuwaidi, Al-Baghdadiyah Al-Gharbiyah, Al-Ammariyah, Al-Sahifa, in addition to parts of the Jeddah Islamic Port (Al-Balad/002001117, Al-Balad/002001026, Al-Balad/002001182, Al-Balad/002001027).
The authority confirmed that these neighborhoods and plans were selected based on specific criteria, noting that the remaining regions, governorates, and neighborhoods that will be subject to physical registration will be announced in the coming period across various regions of the Kingdom.
Registration mechanism and conditions
The Authority stated that registration will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform rer.sa.
Or through authorized service centers, provided that a title deed that meets the regulatory requirements is available to complete the registration process.
The Authority called on property owners to verify their title deeds and ensure that all necessary conditions are met before beginning registration, warning that failure to register within the specified period will subject owners to financial penalties determined by a specialized committee in accordance with the property registration system.
Issuance of a “property number” and a title deed
The Authority confirmed that, starting from the start of registration, each real estate unit will be issued a "property number" and a title deed containing accurate information about the property, its description, condition, and associated rights and obligations, based on up-to-date geospatial information.
The real estate registration system aims to raise the level of real estate reliability, enhance transparency, and support the sustainability of the real estate sector through an integrated database that contributes to the development of real estate infrastructure.
