As part of the Jeddah Season, the Hadrami Orchestra performed a world-class concert, organized by Benchmark, bringing together more than 70 musicians and choirs on one stage, led by maestro Mohammed Al-Qahoum.

The ceremony kicked off with an opening by Bu Saqr, setting the stage for a magical atmosphere of rhythm and melody, followed by escalating pieces bearing the imprint of Hadrami heritage, blended with new arrangements composed by Al-Qahoum. Fifty-four musicians harmonized with the voices of 54 choir members, in a musical palette that brought together expertise from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Russia, Britain, and several other countries.

Artist Fouad Abdel Wahed participated in the concert, performing a number of songs, including “Ghadr Al-Layl” and “Khanjar Yamani.” The audience’s interaction with the orchestra was evident, as moments of interaction were repeated when Al-Qahoum raised his stick to direct the rhythm, with some pieces transforming into a dialogue between the musicians and the audience.
At the press conference held prior to the concert, Maestro Mohammed Al-Qahoum expressed his excitement at meeting the Jeddah audience, explaining that this was the orchestra's second stop after Riyadh, and emphasizing that the program would feature well-known pieces with a new spirit.
The concert concluded amidst remarkable interaction from the audience, who expressed their applause for this exceptional musical experience that presented Hadrami heritage in a unique way.
