Communication Riyadh Region Municipality Implementing its comprehensive campaign to address violations Unit division Residential buildings and converting them into multiple rental units without obtaining regular licenses. This campaign includes residential buildings, villas, and upper annexes within residential neighborhoods.
Results of field visits to monitor the division of residential units
Field inspections have so far identified 26,345 housing units, including 12,918 in violation, while work is currently underway to rectify the status of 13,883 housing units.
Field teams also conducted 1187 inspection tours during the various phases of the campaign, issuing 1327 violation notices to violators.

Comprehensive plan and strict standards
The Secretariat confirmed that the campaign is proceeding according to a comprehensive plan that includes monitoring, remediation, and the application of regulatory penalties, with a focus on enhancing compliance with urban planning requirements that ensure the safety of facilities and the quality of services provided to residents.
These efforts aim to improve the efficiency of infrastructure within neighborhoods and address urban challenges resulting from residential zoning violations, positively impacting the quality of life in the capital, Riyadh.
