Today, the Syrian Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdulsalam Heikal, visited the headquarters of the STC Group, accompanied by His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, as part of strengthening digital cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

In a related development, the Syrian Minister received Prince Mohammed bin Khalid bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Chairman of STC's Board of Directors, Eng. Alian Al-Wateed, Group CEO, and a number of the group's executive leaders.
Strengthening digital cooperation with Saudi Arabia
STC officials also showcased the most prominent digital services and advanced technical solutions, most notably the 5G network, which is one of the most widespread in the region and supports digital transformation through ultra-fast speeds and advanced infrastructure. They also showcased regional data centers, cloud services, cybersecurity, smart city solutions, and the Internet of Things.

The Syrian delegation was briefed on the group's sustainable initiatives, which focus on innovation and digital transformation, and are aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. They also discussed ways to enhance digital integration and exchange expertise in the communications and information technology sector.
The visit concluded with a field tour of the group's facilities, including the most prominent projects and initiatives launched by stc in recent years.
