The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Commission (Nazaha) initiated a number of criminal and administrative cases, announcing that it conducted 1851 inspection tours and 416 investigations during August 2025.

In a related context, she noted that 138 people had been arrested, some of whom were released on bail, for corruption crimes including bribery and abuse of power.

She confirmed that those arrested were from the Ministries of Interior, Defense, National Guard, Municipalities and Housing, Education, Health, Justice, Human Resources and Social Development, Industry and Mineral Resources, in addition to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.
