The Authority explained that the "Real Estate Units Sorting" program allows beneficiaries to sort or re-sort buildings and real estate complexes into independent units, or redistribute parts through mergers or divisions, thus clarifying the rights and obligations associated with the shared units.
This process is carried out through accredited engineering and surveying offices. After verification and approval, the sorting reports are issued electronically and sent to the competent authority to issue the title deeds.
The program is also technically linked to the Baladi platform to verify construction permits, as part of the authority's efforts to provide regulatory solutions that support transparency and enhance the sustainability of the real estate sector.
Improvements to the real estate sorting platform
The Authority noted the development of a number of services on the "Real Estate Unit Sorting" platform, most notably the electronic sorting request service, which enables property owners to contract with engineering offices via the platform to survey the property and submit the application entirely electronically.
This service enables beneficiaries to easily select the appropriate engineering office, organize contractual relationships, and protect the rights of all parties, thus contributing to improved service quality and faster order processing.
