His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect him - chaired the weekly Cabinet session held today in Riyadh, which addressed a range of important regional and international issues.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince began the session by presenting the content of the message he received from His Excellency the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, which addressed common issues of interest to the two countries and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation. His Royal Highness also briefed the Council on the content of his meeting with the Vice President of the State of Palestine, Hussein Al-Sheikh, where they discussed political developments in the region and aspects of ongoing cooperation between the Kingdom and Palestine.
The Kingdom's humanitarian efforts in Gaza
During its session, the Saudi Cabinet reviewed the overall events taking place in the region and the world, particularly the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Cabinet affirmed the Kingdom's tireless efforts, through its ongoing communication with members of the international community, to end the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.
The Council stressed the importance of delivering relief and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, while affirming full cooperation with specialized international mechanisms to ensure the prompt and safe delivery of such aid. The Council also discussed the steps taken by the Kingdom to continue supporting the Palestinian people in their difficult humanitarian circumstances.
At the conclusion of the session, the Saudi Cabinet affirmed the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to regional and international security issues, its pivotal role in providing humanitarian support to disaster-stricken areas, and its commitment to strengthening cooperation with various countries to achieve security and stability in the region.
