The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid carried out a volunteer medical campaign specializing in brain and nerve surgery in the city of Damascus in the Syrian Arab Republic, during the period from 17 to 26 October 2025, with the participation of 19 volunteers from Saudi medical staff in various specialties.
Medical team

The campaign included medical examinations for 201 patients and the successful performance of 116 delicate neurosurgical procedures. These efforts were undertaken in response to the medical needs of the region, aiming to alleviate the suffering of patients and provide them with specialized healthcare.
The King Salman Relief Center confirmed that this project comes as part of a series of voluntary medical programs implemented by the center in a number of countries, with the aim of supporting the health sector and providing treatment services to those in need, in order to strengthen the Kingdom’s humanitarian message and its leading role in the field of relief and voluntary work around the world.
