Yesterday, a new batch of Saudi relief and humanitarian aid crossed the Rafah border crossing towards the Kerem Abu Salem crossing in the southeast of the Gaza Strip, loaded with food baskets provided by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to aid the brotherly Palestinian people in Gaza.

This batch comes as a continuation of the relief efforts made by the Kingdom to alleviate the suffering of civilians in the sector, and to provide their basic needs in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions they are experiencing.
The center explained that it had established an air and sea bridge to support the Palestinian people, with 70 relief planes and 8 ships delivering more than 7,648 tons of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials to date. Additionally, 20 ambulances were delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society to bolster its emergency response capabilities.
As part of diversifying support channels, the center signed a number of agreements with international organizations to implement relief projects within the sector worth more than $90 million and 350 thousand, in addition to joint airdrop operations with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to overcome the closure of crossings and ensure that aid reaches those in need.
These efforts confirm the continuation of Saudi humanitarian support through the King Salman Relief Center, which continues to play its leading role in supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their humanitarian suffering in the Gaza Strip.
