The National Center for Meteorology, in its daily weather report, predicted that today’s weather will be partly cloudy with thunderstorms and rain, accompanied by surface wind activity in parts of the highlands of Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah regions, extending to the southern parts of the highlands of the Madinah region.

The report also indicated a chance of fog forming during the early morning hours in parts of those areas, as well as some areas of the Eastern Province.
Wind movement and sea state

The center indicated that the surface wind movement will be northwesterly to northerly over the northern and central part of the Red Sea, while it will be southerly to southeasterly, turning into northeasterly-southeasterly in the evening over the southern part, with a speed ranging from 15 to 37 km/h, and may reach 45 km/h towards the Gulf of Aqaba.
As for the sea conditions, the waves will be light to moderate, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters.
On the Arabian Gulf, the report indicated that surface winds would be northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 10 to 30 km/h, while the sea state would be slight, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to approximately one meter.
