The General Directorate of Education in the Riyadh region announced that winter school hours in all boys’ and girls’ schools in the region will begin on Sunday, 11 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to November 2, 2025 AD.

The official spokesman for Riyadh Education, Abdul Salam Al-Thumairi, explained that the morning assembly will be at 6:45 AM, and the first class will begin at 7:00 AM, noting that the winter school hours will continue until 29 Shaban 1447 AH, corresponding to February 17, 2026 AD, before moving to the school hours specific to the month of Ramadan.

Al-Thumairi added that the school hours for this academic year (1447-1448 AH) were approved in advance to include summer and winter school hours and Ramadan school hours, stressing that setting the times for assembly and the first period aims to organize the school day in a way that suits the weather conditions and ensures the discipline of the educational process, wishing all male and female students a school term full of success and excellence.
