The event achieved record-breaking sales and public turnout, registering 2.909 sales transactions totaling 1.898 tons of dates. The Al-Ahsa harvest season is a prominent annual event organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates in cooperation with the Al-Ahsa Municipality, the Al-Ahsa Development Authority, and the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
The season is an important national platform for marketing local dates and developing the palm sector and its derivative products, which contributes to highlighting the importance of Al-Ahsa as one of the largest date production centers in the Kingdom.

The season witnessed wide participation from local and international visitors and investors, attracting more than 1200 visitors weekly, reflecting the significant interest in this economic and cultural event. More than 20 varieties of dates were showcased, most notably Al-Ikhlas, Al-Raziz, and Al-Shishi, which are among the finest varieties for which Al-Ahsa is renowned throughout the Kingdom and the Gulf region.
Job opportunities and empowerment
In support of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and to empower national talent, the Al-Ahsa harvest season provided more than 350 job opportunities for young Saudis in the agriculture and food processing sectors. This is a significant step towards enhancing the participation of Saudi youth in vital economic sectors.

The season witnessed a large turnout from local and Gulf investors, including agricultural entrepreneurs and owners of food processing plants, who participated in the accompanying exhibition that showcased a range of products and initiatives related to the date industry and the development of value-added chains.

The season's organizing committee affirmed that the Al-Ahsa Date Festival has become a leading national model in developing the Saudi date industry and enhancing its global competitiveness. This remarkable success is attributed to the support of the wise leadership and the patronage of His Highness the Governor of Al-Ahsa, who is deeply committed to promoting agricultural development and supporting national products, in addition to empowering Saudi farmers in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
